One More Election Night 2020 Prediction

Ok, it seems like this election has been ongoing since 2016 - and maybe tonight it will be over - but I don't think so...
At about 10:00 pm EST on election night 2016 it was clear to any objective observer that Donald Trump would be the next President of the United States. But, almost immediately, the campaign to discredit the election began. It began with minor protestations from Clinton, then progressed to a campaign to sway electors, then an extended Mueller investigation, then an impeachment, then to the Covid Crisis and now here we are - election night 2020.
For the past year we've been told by the "wizards of smart" (who continue through this morning of 11/3/2020) that there is virtually no chance that Donald Trump will be re-elected - and those who support Trump are wasting their time and their vote should they choose to support the President.
But honestly - it just doesn't feel that way. It doesn't feel like a Biden wave.
It feels like Trump.
We've also been told that the winner won't be known for weeks. That doesn't feel right either. 60% of all votes have been cast. By 9:30 EST 99% of Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina votes will have been counted. I think election day/night goes something like this...
Afternoon: Exit Polls are leaked and widely broadcast - especially on Trump hating Drudge Report - Biden by HUGE margins! Up by 18 - 20%!
In response to the leaked exit polls Trump supporters across talk radio and social media call BS and urge Trump supporters to continue to vote.
Early evening: Talking heads on all mainstream media continue to speak of the inevitable landslide for Biden - but with just a crack of a possible window for Trump.
8:00 EST: First returns are reported in from Eastern Time Zone. Media instantly "calls" New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Maryland, DC, Delaware, and Vermont for Biden with the Electoral map showing Biden 80 - Trump 0. They will use phrases like, "the route is on" and it looks like a "very good night for Joe Biden." They will post early return totals from Florida showing a HUGE lead for Joe Biden. When about 30% of Florida is in, they will start questioning "Why haven't we called Florida yet?" - all the while knowing that Florida's most conservative populations are in the Central Time Zone and polls are still open. North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Ohio will all be "too close to call" - but early totals will favor Biden. Mention will be made that Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota polls will be closing soon...
9:00 EST: Expect something of a lull. A few more partial returns. West Virginia will be the first state called for Trump. Then it will be noticed that Maine and New Hampshire are still "too close to call" as well as North Carolina and Florida. Vague reference will be made of a "possible electoral path" for the President, noting that the Biden lead in Florida is shrinking and Trump has pulled ahead in North Carolina and Ohio. As the 9:00 hour draws to a close, media pundits confidence will have changed to nervous trepidation as they begin to discuss how Pennsylvania will likely NOT be called tonight, and the West Coast is still locked up for Biden..
10:00 EST: North Carolina is called for Trump. Trump's lead in Ohio is significant and growing. Wisconsin, Michigan and Minnesota are all in virtual dead heats. Approximately 10:30 Fox calls Florida and Ohio for Trump. All other media outlets delay on Ohio / Florida - but join Fox in calling all of the Trump stronghold states like Oklahoma and Arkansas for Trump with the addition of Iowa. Now it's electoral advantage for Trump, and the vote count in Pennsylvania has moved into Trumps favor. The Governor of Pennsylvania makes a public proclamation that PA will NOT be called tonight and they will be counting votes for AT LEAST 3 more days.
11:00 EST: Chaos. Riots have broken out in several cities. Trump has won Georgia, Florida, and has taken a commanding electoral lead. Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota all lean heavily in favor of the President. Michigan and Wisconsin are called for Trump. Early returns from Colorado and New Mexico show Biden significantly under performing. Choking back tears, (or maybe openly weeping) media pundits admit, it looks bad for Biden, and Trump will likely be re-elected - and that Pennsylvania won't even matter. When Texas is called for Trump, he has 273 electoral votes with Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Arizona, New Mexico and Colorado still to close to call. Eventually, Trump will prevail in 3 of those 5 states.
For the record, my final call: Trump 315 - Biden 223
Of course, it doesn't end there. It only begins the next 4 years of attempting to discredit the results of this election. Time will tell if any more people are fooled than last time.
In the end, this is all just speculation, and it could turn out horribly for Republicans. My biggest singular hope is that the count is honest and that there is a high degree of confidence in the results.
If Trump loses, the movement that began with the Tea Party won't go away - we'll just become "the resistance" again - and fight a bit harder this time.
Next Morning Grading...
What did I get wrong?
Easy answer - Everything. There was little or no Trump turnout in the Western States, AZ, NM, NV. There was no Trump support in MN. Apparently they are happy with their Democrat riots and defunding the police. The support Trump gained in WI, MI, PA, while far in excess of what polls predicted will not be enough to overcome the embarrassingly transparent fraudulent vote counting. Yes, the votes are still being "counted" - but it's an open farce. This is the same playbook the Democrats (hereinafter known as the Cheatocrats) used to oust Norm Coleman in Minnesota and several other instances. The Cheatocrats stopped vote counting in 7 states when it was apparent that there weren't enough votes on hand to produce the desired results. After about 4 hours, voila, the counting continues and Trump's lead disappears.
Is there a way for Trump to win this?
Probably not. Short of having his own stash of bogus ballots to be discovered and counted - this portion of the election is over. Possibly one of the WI, MI, or PA might get called for Trump just to make it seem legit - but probably not. The Cheatocrats aren't going to let it get within one contested state.
What's next?
Some political chaos. The odd realignment of the electorate may continue. Early exit polling indicates working class minorities broke fairly strongly for the President, while suburban white women moved away from the President, ostensibly because they didn't like the way he treated minorities. It seems that the GOP would do well to continue to enhance it's populist positions on trade, foreign wars, and illegal immigration and continue to grow it's base among working class minorities, and let the Cheatocrat party become even more increasingly the party of elitists, woke leftists, and poverty stricken.
But it's hard to say. There will be a segment of the GOP that wants to go back to their comfortable positions as the hapless foils who feign political resistance to ever expanding Government totalitarianism advocated by the left.
For now, it's about reorganizing for the 2022 mid-terms, and planning a strategy for the upcoming hard sprint to the left by the Cheatocrats. Maybe Trump can pull off a miracle, and I hope he puts up a fight - but it's going to mostly for entertainment value.
On the bright side, now that Donald Trump has lost the election - Covid-19 is cured - right?

What Do We Really Know About Viral Transmission?

Yesterday, I was made aware of a study that took place during the Spanish Flu epidemic. The study was conducted in Boston by the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Public Health Service. The purpose of the study was to provide evidence to support the widely believed theory that Flu virus, as well as many similar viruses, were spread by "droplets" caused by sneezing, coughing, or hand to face contact. The protocol of the study and it's results were so unbelievable that I suspected it was yet another internet Urban Legend . I did some digging and was somewhat to find reprints of the published paper on several archive sites, and while the details of the study read like an SNL skit - it appears to be 100% true.
I've tried to find if there was ever a follow up, or any other controlled study to confirm the "droplet transmission" theory - and haven't found one. Seems like this is one time that since "the science" didn't match the theory - "the science" was discarded. We encourage everyone to read the actual study (it's fairly brief) in the link found in the previous paragraph, but for the condensed version...
I'll do my best to recap the results of:
The Navy found 150 volunteers, mostly between 18 and 25 years old, who were to be subjected to direct exposure to the virus. By direct - they meant REALLY direct.
Virus was collected directly from lung tissue of the recently deceased, as well as from various secretions of infected people. The virus was mixed into solution and sprayed directly into the nose, eyes and back of the throat of the volunteers - while they inhaled. The study estimates that "Billions" of virus organisms were sprayed into each volunteer. The result, quoting directly from the study, "but none of them took sick."
But wait, there's more...
Determined to prove up the theory of viral transmission, another group of ten volunteers was treated to a 1 c.c. spray of viral mucus collected from infected patients directly into the nostrils and on the eye. None of them took sick.
Discouraged by the lack of ability to make anyone sick, they shortened the duration of virus collection from 4 hours to 100 minutes and upped the dose to 6 cc's in the next group of 10 and noted that some of the volunteers swallowed the viral solution. None of them took sick
Thinking that perhaps the time and atomizing were killing the virus, with the next group of 19 volunteers they took direct nasal swabs from sick patients and inserted them directly into the nostrils of the volunteers. The group of sick patients were in various stages of infection and most of the volunteers were subject to 2 or 3 "shots" of direct nasal to nasal insertion. None of the volunteers took sick in any way.
Not to be denied, the study group then injected volunteers directly with blood from patients in various stages of infection. None of the volunteers were infected in any way.
Finally, the study group tried to create a "natural" transmission by having sick patients shake hands, talk, and cough, within 2 inches of the volunteers face for 5 straight minutes. None of the volunteers became infected.
The rather humble but honest conclusion of the study...
This is something to keep in mind the next time some supposed authority attempts to explain how anyone got infected with Covid-19. They don't know. Nobody does.

Time to Choose: Societal Collapse vs. Abandon Covid-19 Restrictions

It's becoming increasingly clear. There are only two choices.
Abandon ALL mandatory restrictions concerning Covid-19
or
Face the collapse of civil society.
There is no middle ground.
We are on the road to starvation and chaos. We don't know exactly how long it will take to get there. But the direction we're taking is clear. For decades we've been told that we MUST transition to a "service based" economy. We've largely done that. Now, we're being told that most of the "services" on which we base huge portions of our economy - are non essential - and are prohibited until further notice. Millions of people are currently unemployed, millions more are idle with no income. Food resources are being destroyed at the source. Incomes are falling to zero. People have accepted the restrictions to "flatten the curve" on the belief that it would be brief, and effective.
Restrictions have been neither effective, or brief.
When most restrictions went into place on March 29th, there were 2,191 Covid-19 related deaths in the United States. In the 42 days that followed, there were more than 77,000 additional Covid-19 related deaths. Only a fool would call this a successful mitigation. In the State of New York, it was recently sited that 66% of the hospitalizations were from patients that were observing "stay at home" orders. Given the results of the mitigation, it is impossible to conclude that it has saved a single life. By contrast - it has forced economic ruin on millions.
The calls for "partial" re-openings are fools gold. It can't work. We have huge swaths of the economy based on tourism, recreation, and entertainment. None of those business models is viable at 25% or even 75% capacity restrictions. A restaurant operating at 25% capacity will lose money faster than if it remains closed. Same is true for a golf course, theatre, bowling alley, hotel, personal service, or amusement park. Ok, for all you doubters, yes we've all seen these businesses run at less than 25% capacity. That's because they will have a several days of full capacity revenue to justify the cost of operating on slow days. If you make the peak revenue only 25% of capacity - forget about it - you're done.
The Government can't print enough money to make everyone whole. If they try, it will cause hyper-inflation. That will cause the collapse of the currency. After a currency collapses, the balance of the civil society will follow. It will be only a matter of time until violence becomes the norm, and chaos will ensue until a "strong man" (usually a vicious thug) emerges to enforce order.
The only alternative is to accept this virus for what it is. A dangerous nasty disease that kills about 5 times more people than the flu, while causing no noticeable symptoms in up to 80% of the those who become infected. If the CDC needs a face saving act, go ahead and release a vaccine. Preferably a pure placebo that won't hurt anyone. Up to 80% of the people who get infected don't show symptoms anyway. An 80% effective vaccine would be considered a huge success.
Time to Choose.

Yes, Trump did Suggest Internal Disinfectants to Combat Covid - 19

Yes, we believe President Trump did suggest that disinfectants be introduced inside the body to combat Covid-19 - and we believe we know the source of his information - and it's not as crazy as it sounds...
For some personal background, I've had an interest in health and nutrition for many years. Starting when I was 6 years old (long story) and continued through competitive power lifting and experimenting with diet and supplements to improve performance. For many years my passing interest in health and nutrition took a back seat to my interest in politics, public policy, and business; but never completely vanished. Then, about 3 years ago, I became aware of a group, or movement, that call themselves (I believe I can honestly say ourselves); Biohackers. Since that time, "Biohacker" podcasts and websites have become my most common outside listening and reading, surpassing politics, sports and business. I have to also add, that it's been WAY more beneficial!
Biohackers are generally ridiculed by mainstream medicine, mainstream media, and conservative media alike. And to be sure, there are examples of some extreme nonsense within the boundaries of what could be called the "Biohacker Community." However, if one were to review the work of prominent "Biohakers" such; Dave Asprey, Ben Greenfield, Geoffrey Woo, David Sinclair, Dr. Paul Saladino, or Ivor Cummins; one would find that they're generally obsessed with research, data, and results. As a group, biohackers routinely discount current "standard of care" conventions; and seek genuine truth derived from an honest analysis of available data. During the past two months, a good deal of the attention of the "Biohacking Community" has been devoted to the study of the effects and possible treatments of Covid-19.
Among the many podcasts and web posts dealing with Covid-19 risks, possible treatments, and strategies for reducing the likelihood of a poor outcome if infected; was Dave Asprey's interview from last Thursday 4/23/2020 with Dr. Frank Shallenberger. Dr. Shallenberger is known for his pioneering in the area of "Ozone Therapy." Ozone Therapy is often dismissed by mainstream medical authorities. Dr. Shallenberger goes into great detail during the interview describing how he's routinely treated upper respiratory infections with hydrogen peroxide or ozone. And yes, hydrogen peroxide IS a common disinfectant, while ozone - may be a less common - it is definitely a disinfectant. During the interview, Shallenberger describes in great detail the exact concentrations and dilution solutions for directly inhaling hydrogen peroxide in a nebulizer for effective treatment of flu, and felt confident that the treatments would be beneficial in treating Covid-19. At about the 43 minute mark in the podcast, Dr. Shallenberger mentions that he's made some efforts in working with the President's Covid team. An excerpt of the transcript is below. In light of Dr. Shallenberger describing contact with the President's Covid team to get "some information into that team" about hydrogen peroxide and ozone therapy (both strong oxidative disinfectants), and the following day the President speak of looking into disinfectant possibilities - it seems entirely likely that the President's team might have briefed him on some of Dr. Shallenberger's treatment strategies. Of course, the President didn't have 50 minutes of podcast time to explain the details - but no one should be surprised if "Disinfectant Therapy" for Covid-19 becomes a "thing" in the future.
And no one should be surprised, if this supposed gaffe - wasn't just another way for Trump to troll the media - again.
